How to Start a Blog that Matters

How to Start a Blog that MattersThinking about starting a blog or reinvigorating an old one? Today we’re launching a new course called How to Start a Blog that Matters that can help.

This course is meant for three groups of people. This course might be for you if:

  • you’re thinking about starting a new blog, from scratch, or
  • you’re unhappy with the results you’ve gotten from a blog you recently launched, or
  • you’re doing OK with your blog, but want to re-brand and re-launch it to take things to the next level

In any case, the course is a step-by-step 90-day action plan for starting a blog that makes a difference.

Starting a blog is incredibly easy these days. Hundreds of millions of blogs are online today and thousands more are started every day.

Anyone can create a blog in 5 minutes, but very few people will create blogs that matter.

What’s the difference between most blogs and the select few that attract huge followings or otherwise make a difference in the world?

That’s a question I started asking myself long before I started my first blog. Since then, I’ve started three popular blogs, and I’ve helped friends and clients attract huge audiences with blogs.

I’ve also seen plenty of bloggers work incredibly hard on something that never takes off.

By studying these differences and through the work I’ve been doing for the past three years, I’ve developed a formula for building successful blogs.

This formula is what I used to create Think Traffic, CorbettBarr.com and Expert Enough. I have also used the formula to help a half dozen clients and friends launch or grow blogs that attract from 10,000 to 100,000+ visitors per month.

I created this course because I believe in the ability of blogs to change the lives of the people who start them and the readers who follow them. I have seen blogs change the lives of many of my closest friends.

If this sounds like a good fit for you so far, get full details on the course here: How to Start a Blog that Matters.

How Does this Fit with the Million Dollar Blog Project?

Think of it this way: the MDBP is for do-it-yourselfers. This course is for people who want each step clearly defined and scheduled.

People who take this course will also participate in the MDBP. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.

The Million Dollar Blog Project is a group project and case study on how to create a successful blog. People have gotten incredible results from the project already. The information you need to create a successful blog is there, but you have be willing to put some of the pieces together.

This course builds on the MDBP and goes much deeper. How to Start a Blog that Matters is a step-by-step action plan. Everything you need to do to build a popular blog is spelled out in full detail. The course contains over 8 hours of video instruction and over 100 individual actions to take over 13 weeks.

Whatever you decide, my goal is to help you start a blog that matters. Whether it’s through this course, the MDBP or something else, I’m just happy to contribute to your success :)

Here’s the link to the course again: How to Start a Blog that Matters. I’m really looking forward to seeing some of you inside.
