OK, so this is my first entry into my accountability journal. Lame, I know. Guilty as charged. However, I have made some progress on getting my website set up (thanks guys for that great video tutorial).

I guess the reason I haven't posted an entry till now is that I'm still slightly unsure about the direction of my blog/business.

I'm very interested in leveraging my background and experience (both in entertainment and in the tech/startup worked) into a business. And I think the angle I chose — story engineering for businesses — could be a good one, especially if it goes into the nuts and bolts of storytelling. (A lot of blogs talk about the importance of story, but only in very vague, superficial terms.) That said, right now I still have my doubts as to whether this is the direction I should go, or there's really a strong demand for what I'm offering. (I know there's a need for it. But the question is: is there a recognized demand?)

I know, I know — I should just plunge in and course-correct later. But I've also been working on a few other projects that have been consuming my time the last few week. So it's been easy to put this project on the back-burner.

That said, I'm very committed to building a blog (whether it's All About Story, my personal blog — http://www.newsincolor.com — or a yet-to-be created blog I've yet to think of) into something that could potentially be the foundation of a viable business, as well as something that would make me excited to wake up in the morning to work on!

And I'm glad to have Corbett and company along for the ride (nothing like public accountability to create a little pressure!).
