Blog Accountability Journal

Progress Journal

OCT 1
Hello
, hello, hello, and since you're here thanks a whole lot for checking out my profile!

I'm going to keep things brief for this first accountability journal entry, because my goals for this web site in the near future are quite modest.

So modest, in fact, that they might be seen by some as a step backward.

I'll be reporting here bi-monthly (to clear up any confusion-ness-ness, after today reports will come on the 1st and 15th of every month.) Gotit? Great.

As you may have derived from the word Wanderlust in the title of my blog, my site is travel themed, which has a lot to do with why my goals are going to be so limited between now and Nov. 1.

I'm on the road!

As I write this, I've been on the road for about a month and week, checking out some of our country's most wonderful natural places. Because I also write about computer graphics for a web-based publication, I've had very little time for personal projects (besides photography) from the road.

This means that in the month since I hit the road I've done no personal writing (except for journaling) and contributed nothing to Wi-Fi Wanderlust.

This will change soon enough, but until I settle down I just can't see myself having any time to launch a new blog.

So. My goal for Wi-Fi Wanderlust between now and Nov. 1: I want to "un-launch" my blog, and replace my home page with a pre-launch page that allows email subscription.

That's it!

I threw my blog up quickly before leaving, thinking I'd have time to develop the look and content from the road, but with my other writing job I just can't do it.

So until I find a place to settle down for awhile, I think it'd be best to un-launch instead of having the half-developed shell of a website live on the interwebs.

That's all, thanks for reading!
