Yo, It’s About That Time, to Bring Forth… Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

  • August 10, 2010 by Corbett Barr

Affiliate Marketing for BeginnersA little less than two months ago, I first shared the Affiliate Marketing for Beginners course with you. I kept the launch short because I wanted to gather feedback and make sure the course was ready for “prime time.”

Well, it’s ready now. Today I’m relaunching Affiliate Marketing for Beginners, and I’m opening it up to a much bigger audience.

The goal of the course is to provide a step-by-step, ethical approach to affiliate marketing for complete beginners. You don’t need any prior experience to take this course, and it will teach you how to use affiliate marketing to build a business in a way you can be proud of. No pushy sales techniques required.

This time around, the course is being promoted by lots of partners around the web, so don’t be surprised if you hear about it somewhere else this week.

A Few Things You Should Know

The course has been refreshed using all the great feedback from the inaugural group. Here are a couple of other changes you should be aware of:

  • The price for the course will remain the same as it was for the first launch, for the next 48 hours only. I know some of you wanted to get in last time but missed out. Here is your chance. After that, the price goes up pretty significantly.
  • A new deluxe version of the course has been added, and it features some interviews with very special guests that you won’t want to miss. Click the link to find out who’s involved.

This course isn’t for everyone. You’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s right for you. If you have any questions, you know where to find me. Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks so much for your support!

My brain is telling me that I should seriously consider signing up for your course. I’m currently a member of a blogger group and I do not take advantage of it. I’m thinking that I should cancel the membership and invest the money into your course. I’ve been following you for a while now and I do trust you. When I read that you actually had a day where you earned $1000 while on vacation, I realized that this is an offer that I should definitely consider. Of course, that’s the exception but it proves that it’s possible. Giving me a deadline of the 12th is motivating too.

Do what your brain tells you ;)

Not sure which “blogger group” you’re referring to, but I belong to a few of those I don’t seem to use anymore too. The monthly charge keeps you hooked though, doesn’t it?

Anyway, just FYI, my course really requires a bit of dedication on your part to make it work. If you can spend 20-40 hours over the next couple of months then you’ll really get the most out of it. It’s not a quick fix, but well worth it if you put the time in.

Corbett, it looks like a solid course and you clearly are the man to deliver the goods. Affiliate marketing is not an easy subject to wrap your head around, I’m sure your students will do very well. I wish you success with your launch!

Thanks, Mike! I appreciate the kind words. Cheers.

Hi, your course is very interesting. Just want to confirm the guarantee though:

This guarantee is good for a full year. Just write me anytime after you’ve used the guide (at least 30 days after purchase), and let me know if it didn’t help you for some reason.

So is it a full year or 30 days guarantee? I do understand that I must apply the techniques in the course to be able to claim for a refund.

Corbett Barr August 11, 2010 at 8:51 am

Hey Arzee, I suppose the wording isn’t completely clear. The guarantee is good for a full year. I want to make sure you’ve actually used the course and given it time to work, so that’s what the 30-days is about. However, I’m happy to refund your money at any time if you don’t like the course. I’ll work on wording that better.

At the moment paying for a course is not an option but hopefully in the not too distant future I’ll be able to take advantage of this as I’m interested in getting into affiliate marketing. :)

Corbett Barr August 11, 2010 at 8:52 am

Cheers, Dean. Thanks for the note.

This is really great Corbett and I trust you,

I have seen you grow so far over the past few months and I am ready to invesst in your site, will you be teaching about niche marketing and if I choose the course only (@$77), can I still get great results.

Will I need to purchase domain names and tools after joining?

Pls let me know what you think?

Thanks a lot,

Corbett Barr August 16, 2010 at 10:34 am

Hi Onibalusi,

Yes, the course teaches niche marketing, and yes, the $77 version includes everything in the basic course, you just don’t get the extra interviews, coaching sessions and a the advanced audio lesson series.

You will need to purchase domain names for each site you create, but you don’t need any extra tools. I show how to get everything done both with free tools and with paid tools.

Corbett, I just bought your “deluxe” version; consider this a minor miracle since the credit card is rarely prised out of my wallet…also I’m not a complete beginner, crucially though I know people who are; I’ve already made my first affiliate sale of your product in theory.

My question is how do I receive an affiliate commission when someone purchases your course via myself?

It wasn’t immediately apparent (at least to me) when I opened up the course for the first time.

Rest assured I shall be working my ass off until I get outstanding results.

Adam Beckett August 18, 2010 at 3:45 pm

scrub that comment about affiliate process, now resolved – my first commission due tomorrow; crucially I feel great about the value I’m spreading – already into the (Blackberry friendly) content – what really impresses me is the clear way you deliver

Onibalusi Bamidele August 16, 2010 at 10:40 am

Great Corbett,

I have a $100 budget so I will go for the $77 option so I can use the remaining money to buy domain names.

If all your advice is taken, what is the maximum duration to make money online?

I am a Nigerian and ClickBank don’t accept Nigerians, is the method applicable to other affiliate marketing networks?

Thanks so much for your fast reply, I really appreciate it,
